Segreto D.O.P. olive oil is fragrant and smooth, with an unmistakable fresh taste. The secret of this olive oil is the sun and soil of the Iblei Mountains, which gives it fresh and intense aromas. “Segreto Degli Iblei” Extra Virgin Olive Oil is obtained exclusively from the local Sicilian olive variety.

The special micro climate gives the oil it’s trait of intense fresh fruit. Tones of green tomato, aromatic green herbs, with finishing notes of almond and artichoke, create a unique harmony between its bitter, spicy and sweet elements. Great for grilled meats, grilled fish, soups. salads, “bruschette”, game, vegetables. This oil makes a superior vinegrette with aceto balsamico of Modena.

This superior category olive oil is made by cold extraction. It is harvested and handpicked only from the 15th October to the 30th of November.

Since 1906 the Cutrera family have been cultivating olive groves in southeast of Sicily. The family managed company is the most awarded Olive Oil producer in Italy.
